Productivity Starts with People – the findings of the 2026 Engage for Success Annual Survey

The report draws on unique insights from a representative UK workforce sample, and highlights how factors such as management style, meaningful employee voice, and effective use of AI shape people’s ability to contribute and perform at their best.

Importantly, the findings show a strong connection between engagement and meaningful consultation emphasising the vital role of voice and participation in shaping better work and organisational outcomes.

With significant gaps across engagement scores, this event will provide practical insights and fresh perspectives for leaders looking to enhance performance through better work design and people practices.

Dr Sarah Pass, Senior Research Manager – HR Practice at CIPD and Ambassador for Engage for Success and James Court-Smith, data analyst and head of Stillae Ltd present the survey findings.
