Published in January 2008 and written by IPA director Nita Clarke, this report is an examination of the relationship between the third sector and trade unions and outlines this relationship as a potential ‘Achilles heel’ for the third sector. Building on a wide area of mutual interest or shared concern, this report makes extensive recommendations for the improvement of third sector- trade union relations.
